One soldier was killed and four civilians injured in armed clashes on Monday in downtown Taiz province, a local source said to Newsyemen.
The source added that the battles erupted in al-Awadhi street nearby Jamal street among armed gangs belonging to Islah Party over Khat tax.
The clashes came hours after an explosive device exploded at the entrance of Deluxe market in downtown Taiz, killing a vegetable vendor and injuring 9 civilians.
