A source at the National Resistance, the guards of the Republic, said that the government forces backed by the Joint Resistance forces cleansed and secured Heyaza and Mawjar sites in al-Awd military front.
The source added that the army and Resistance lifted the siege on the strategic mountain of al-Awd, inflicting the armed militias heavy losses at their ranks and ammunition.
The source affirmed that the armed militias were forced to flee the targeted sites at the front, leaving a number of dead bodies of their gunmen in the clash areas.
