MASAM Demining Project in Yemen had removed about 1,500 landmines in the second week of April.
MASAM Program Manager Osama al-Gosaibi said that the field teams had lifted approximately 2,500 mines, unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices since the beginning of April until 12 of the same month.
During the same week, the engineering teams had removed about 600 anti-tank mines and 17 antipersonnel mines, in addition to removing 766 unexploded ordnance and 62 explosive devices, al-Gosaibi added.
