Two people were killed and others injured in violent clashes between security forces and gunmen after the assassination of a security officer on Friday evening in Taiz province.
Local security and local sources told Newsyemen that clashes broke out between security forces and gunmen in Aqabat Mufareh neighborhood in al-Jumhori area, killing two and injuring others, including civilians.
Civilians fear that the Brotherhood's Popular Crowd exploit the situation to launch a new war against the residents of Wadi al-Madam area, similar to the security campaign against the city's civilians at the end of last March under the pretext of arresting those involved in the assassination of Lt. Col. Abdullah Muqbil al-Makhlafi.
