Crimes of domestic violence increased in Sana'a, and areas seized by the Houthi militias as a strange and an alien phenomenon on the Yemeni society that are raising a series of questions and question marks.
Three sisters have been drowned, their father was accused of committing a crime for unknown reasons on Friday in al-Safia district in the Capital Sana'a.
The three girls, sisters, their ages ranging from 10-15 years, were rushed to al-Thawra hospital by their mother in accompanying her brother before they passed away, preliminary information indicated that their deaths were caused by drowning them in a barrel or a water basin.
In the same context related to domestic violence, local sources and residents reported that a Yemeni mother, a wife, was killed in front of her children last week in Hajar neighborhood in the Capital Sana'a.
The information available indicated that the husband al-Saqqaf was accused of involving in the crime on the basis of family disputes with the wife's relatives.
