A three-day awareness campaign, concluded on Wednesday, targeted a camp for Internally displaced persons (IDPs) of al-Hodeida and the West Coast of Yemen held in Mualla district in Aden province, organized by the Ghaith initiative headed by Khadija al-Ahdal.
The program included a Clean-up Campaign in the first two days to clear and remove waste and garbage from the IDP camp. On the third day, an educational activity was organized for the displaced about cholera and dengue fever.
The trainers provided information and explanations about the two diseases, the causes, symptoms and methods of prevention. The explanation included an enhanced representative scene as well as competitions for the children.
