Hours after the southern forces took control of the remnants of the expatriate state, residents in Aden were going about their daily lives. There may still be monuments to the city's neighborhoods and residents, but people quickly turned the page as if they weren't
"Newsyemen" visited some of the streets and alleys of Aden and parks packed with citizens, and explored some views:
"We have had difficult days mixed with fear due to bombing and clashes, but the victory was soon," said Basil Ahmad, 32, a resident of Khor Maksar
Al-Hajja Aisha, an elderly woman who lives in Al-Mualla district, believes that the recent events were expected. "Perhaps Aden may be able to return in the best way it had been in the past", she said. "God bless our old days.. She hoped that in the coming days they would see security on the ground, and that services would change for the better
The popcorn seller in the park "Saqr" from the city of Taiz, confirmed that he did not suffer or got any abusive treatment by the people of the south
He explained that he has sons from his city, Taiz, who are selling vegetables in Crater and Sheikh Othman, no one was exposed to them badly, and that they are still doing their work, stressing that Aden welcomed them
