A gang belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood militia on Tuesday attacked Dr. Ilan Abdul Haq, the undersecretary of Taiz governorate for health affairs, who is in charge of running Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority.

Eyewitnesses told (Newsyemen) that a group of the Muslim Brotherhood, led by the delegate of the wounded Brigade 22 Mika Abdul Salam al-Sharihi, assaulted Ilan Abdul Haq, and pursued her with the nurses in the corridors of the hospital.

The witnesses added: "Dr. Ilan and the nurses fled to the orthopedic department, and close the section from the inside, in an attempt to hide after being pursued in Al-Thawra hospital by the gang."

According to witnesses, the attack took place inside Al-Thawra Hospital following a verbal altercation between proxy Ilan with the representative of Major General 22 Mika before he used a gang of Brotherhood militias.

It is noteworthy that the militias of the Muslim Brotherhood and their media are waging a campaign of incitement and intimidation against Dr. Ilan Abdel Haq because of her refusal to return one of the doctors referred for investigation to his work at Al-Thawra General Hospital for causing the death of activist Aida al-Absi.
