Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has threatened a "all out war" if the United States launches a military strike against Iran.

"I say very seriously that we do not want a war, we do not want to engage in a military confrontation," Zarif told CNN. "But we will not hesitate to defend our land."

Zarif denied Tehran's involvement in the attack on Aramco's facilities a few days ago, claiming that the attack was by Houthi militias in Yemen.

Zarif's comments came hours after US President Donald Trump said there were "many options for dealing with Iran, including the military option," noting that his country would impose new sanctions on Tehran within 48 hours.

Saudi Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that the terrorist attack was carried out by seven cruise missiles and 18 drones, which came from the north and not from the south, where Yemen is.

A Saudi defense ministry spokesman confirmed that the source of these weapons was Iran and "could not be coming in Yemen," and that "Iran's agents in Yemen do not have such weapons."
