Residents of Tahita district reported on Friday that drinking water had been cut off from their homes for five days.
"The management of the project explained that the lack of diesel, has stopped pumping water and supplies to homes," they told Newsyemen .
The UAE Crescent, which has rehabilitated the project, finances the purchase of diesel, but there is suspicion of corruption.
