Prevent shooting in weddings and events in Hays city and punish violators

Bullets and gunfire were banned at weddings and events in Hays, the capital of the district in the south of Hodeidah governorate, and penalties and fines were imposed on military and civilian violators.

The resolution addresses a problem that has plagued the residents and left a panic among civilians, in the city of Hays, which is daily bombarded and targeted by Houthi militias.

According to a directive issued by the commander of the seventh brigade, Giants Brigadier General Ali Kenini, a member of the Joint Command for the Liberation of the West Coast Front stationed in the Front of Hays:

 For the sake of security and stability of the city and for the maintenance of security, stability and public tranquility, and to reduce the phenomenon of shooting at weddings, which disturbs security and public tranquility:

- Shooting at weddings and events is strictly prohibited.

- Every member of the brigade shall be punished by imprisonment for 5 days and a fine of 20,000 riyals for anyone who does so.

- Any citizen who is not a member of the brigade shall be punished by imprisonment for 10 days and a fine of 10,000 riyals.

- A fine imposed on citizens for the improvement of the city shall be provided by official deed or written financial notice.

- All security and seizure bodies in and around the city and the battalion leaders are committed to the implementation of this resolution.
