Fees at the entry points to Taiz for cooking gas

Tanker drivers in Taiz Governorate have complained about the de facto authority's imposition of fees on trucks loaded with cooking gas cylinders.
Local sources said that the hygiene fund collectors at the entrance of the governorate in the districts of Bani Ghazi - Al-Karba and affiliated to Al-Islah Party are collecting cleaning fees on gas fuel, relief materials and oil derivatives, other points in Al-Dhabab area also charge carriers, without official bonds.
Residents in the city of Taiz are struggling to obtain a gas cylinder, which costs about 7,000 riyals on the black market.
