“Masam” announces the removal of 6325 mines on the west coast

The Saudi mine clearance project in Yemen announced the removal of 6,325 mines on the west coast.

It said in a statement, that the field teams were able, in cooperation with the joint forces, to remove thousands of mines, shells and explosive devices planted by Houthi militias in areas and districts of the West Coast.

Engineering teams are clearing the liberated areas of the West Coast of minefields, shells and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) of various sizes and shapes randomly planted by militias.

It is noteworthy that Masam team and engineering teams of the joint forces and in cooperation and coordination with the Arab coalition forces have already destroyed thousands of mines and explosive devices in the west coast.

The Houthi terrorist militias, Iran's arm in Yemen, have planted all areas, districts and cities of the West Coast with illegal mines, and refuses to hand over maps to the UN Commission for clearance.
