On Friday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, spread out in the streets and roads leading to Al-Matar Street in the capital, Sana'a, in conjunction with a march by the group's followers.
Local residents said that the Houthi militia blocked all roads leading to Al-Matar Street, starting with Al-Saiela behind the police hospital and Al-Sayyah Cemetery in the south, until the eastern tour of Marib.
The militia also deployed its elements in all the rounds and set up many checkpoints, and a number of military crews were seen roaming the streets of Sanaa.
The Houthi militia's march caused great losses to the owners of the shops located near Al-Matar road and Bab Al-Yemen, where they forced them to close for two days, and the Houthi measures prevented the citizens from reaching their homes due to the closure of the streets.
Houthi activities deepen the suffering of the residents of Sanaa
