The chief of general staff, Lt. Gen. Saghir Hammoud bin Aziz, survived a rocket attack by Houthi militias in The Dish camp in Marib, and his son, nephew and a number of escorts were killed.
According to preliminary information, Lt. Gen. Ben Aziz escaped a rocket attack on his convoy after a meeting with Defense Minister Mohammed Ali al-Meqshi at The Jinn Camp in Marib.
Captain Fahad, the son of Lieutenant General Bin Aziz, Lieutenant Abdul Qawi, nephew of the Chief of Staff, and a number of his companions were martyred.
