Coastal Eritrean naval boats intercepted, on Wednesday, Eritrean boats, who were trying to detain Yemeni fishermen off the island of Hunaish, in the Red Sea.
Coast Guard sources said that naval patrols were able to detain Eritrean boats while trying to detain Yemeni fishing boats, noting that Eritrean boats are present with the Coast Guard forces in the West Coast.
Eritrean boats detained 15 Yemeni fishing boats on Tuesday.
According to journalist and activist Mujahid al-Qab, the fishermen will be released and will return on their boats to the Yemeni coast in the next two days.
