On Thursday, the Abdiya District, south of Marib Governorate, witnessed the first battles between the Bani Abd tribe with the support of Murad tribes and the Houthi militias.
Tribal sources said that Bani Abd and those with them from the Murad tribes managed to break an attempt to submit to the Houthi militias within the Abediya district.
He added that the tribesmen managed, in a counter-attack, to recover Al-Wa'il and Al-Mawarid, Ras al-Sakiya and Shaab Al/Shuhat, and members of the Houthi militia were dead and others escaped.
The source indicated that the clashes have now returned to the Qaniya area again in light of a continuous attack by tribesmen to restore Al-Souq.
