On Saturday, the interim president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, directed the militia of the Islah party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, to ceasefire in Shuqra , Abyan Governorate, south of Yemen.
President Hadi called, in a televised speech, during a Yemeni meeting in Riyadh, to prevail in the public interest and unify the fronts between the Yemenis against the Houthi coup.
He stressed that the Riyadh agreement represents the only way out to end the crisis with the Transitional Council, calling for its implementation and an end to blo
odshed.
