Today, Thursday, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) launched a call to protect doctors and patients in Yemen.
The committee said, in a tweet published by its office in Yemen, on its Twitter account, on the occasion of the International Day of Patient Safety: "They do not carry weapons, do not know how to fight, and yet they are under attack."
The ICRC added: "Doctors, nurses, paramedics and health care workers deserve our protection, and their safety is that of the patients."
