Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the governor of the capital, Aden, directed to stop the two deputy director-general of Aden electricity , on Wednesday morning, during a surprise visit to the headquarters of the General Electricity Administration, and it became clear that they were not at their workplace.
The Secretary General of the Transitional Council, Lamas, and a day after his return to the capital, he visited the headquarters of the General Electricity Administration, inspecting the departments and sections, discussing "the technical reasons that lead to the poor service provided to the consumer (citizen)."
Lamas called on employees to double their efforts and prepare well to face the coming summer, stressing that the local authority will provide full support to the Electricity Department to overcome the
problems and difficulties it faces.
At the end of his visit, he stressed the need for officials and employees to perform their daily tasks and duties, noting that it is not allowed to repeat the absence of those responsible for their work in the Electricity Administration and the rest of the capital's facilities, pledging to confront those responsible for negligence or failure to serve the citizen.
