For the first time, a prominent Iranian leader revealed Iran's support for the Houthis.
The economic assistant to the commander of the "Quds Force" in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, General Rustam Qasimi, said that his country, Iran, supported the Houthis, with weapons at the beginning of the war, and trained Houthi elements in the manufacture of weapons.
Qasimi also confirmed that a number of advisors from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are in Yemen.
Qasimi was speaking to Russia Today channel, in an interview that the channel conducted with him, on Wednesday.
