The United Nations warned, on Tuesday, that food aid stocks are running out in Yemen, calling on donor countries to fulfill their pledges.
"The World Food Program has not fed a single person on a promise," David Beasley, executive director of the United Nations World Food Programme, said on his Twitter account.
He added "We are urgently calling on those who have pledged to help Yemen to write checks so that WFP can continue to provide life-saving assistance.”
The UN official concluded his message by saying: "Our food stocks are running out."
