Three Iranian Interior Ministry officials told Reuters that 1,500 people had died during the fuel protests, which began on November 15 and lasted less than two weeks across the country.

Statistics indicated that there are 17 dead (teens), 400 women, and a number of security forces and police, between the dead and wounded.

Three sources closely related to those close to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei confirmed to Reuters in a survey of the unrest that Khamenei appears to have run out of patience and ordered the officials to do everything necessary to end the uprising.

It’s noteworthy that the Amnesty International estimated the death toll from the protests that occurred between 15 and 18 November to hundreds, and stated that the Iranian authorities launched a brutal crackdown following the nationwide protests.
