The UAE strongly condemns the Houthi attack on a mosque in Marib

The United Arab Emirates, on Monday, "strongly condemned" the attack carried out by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, that targeted a mosque in Marib Governorate, and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries while performing the prayer.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the UAE "expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at destabilizing security and stability and is incompatible with religious and human values and principles."
The ministry called on the international community to unite to confront terrorism, whatever its source, which undermines the chances of peace, stability and security.
The ministry also expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims for this heinous crime, according to the Emirati news agency WAM.
