Unidentified gunmen assassinated, on Monday evening, the commander of the first brigade in the southern resistance, Walid Sakra, in Lahj governorate, southern Yemen.
A local source said that gunmen ambushed the commander of the first brigade, southern resistance, while he was on his way from Dhale’ to the city of Aden.
It added that the gunmen shot a gun at "Sukra", in the Samah area, Habeel Al-Raida, in Lahj governorate, and they killed him instantly.
He indicated that the commander of the first brigade was coming from the fronts of the fight against the Houthi militia, in al-Dhale’ governorate, on a visit to Aden.
