Battles described as violent between the army on one side, and the Houthi militia on the other, take place in Sarwah front in the Ma'rib Governorate, east of Sanaa, for the second consecutive day.

The confrontations are taking place in Sarwah, Hailan, and Al-Mashaj, using various types of heavy weapons, at a time when Arab coalition fighters provide a great air support to the Sharia forces.
Military sources reported to "Newsyemen" that the coalition warplanes launched about 18 raids on Houthi positions and reinforcements in the Sarwah front, and on sites some 15 km from Kovel camp.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, had taken control of sites in the Sarawah area, most notably Tibetan Al-Shafi’i and the strategic speech in the front of the front.
She indicated that the militia's control of Tibetan Al-Shafi’i and Al-Khattab would enable the Houthi militia to cut off the army's supply to al-Maymana and be able to control Kovel camp again.
Dozens of Houthi militia members were killed during the fighting and coalition airstrikes in Sarwah, and several others were injured, while five army personnel were killed and others were wounded.

The sources added that the army forces surrounded a group of Houthi militia members on the same front, while Arab coalition aircraft launched a number of raids and targeted militia gatherings and mechanisms.
The artillery of the National Army targeted a gathering of the Houthi militia in Sarwah, killing more than 20 of its members.
In a related context, a coalition airstrike targeted another gathering of militia elements in Sarwah, and the shelling resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of members.
On Wednesday, while the National Army forces shot down a Houthi plane, it was flying low over the front of Sarwah.
