Today, the Ministry of Higher Education issued a circular on emergency leave due to the Coronavirus.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research circulated, in its publication, a statement to the institutions of higher education and scientific research stating the continuation of the emergency leave due to the Coronavirus, for the remainder of the month of March 23 - May 30, 2020, for all branches of public and private university education .. according to the directives of the vice president Ministers dr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi.
This period is considered a summer vacation, while the school hours will be resumed on May 31, 2020, and will continue until July 4, 2012.
University exams start from 15 July 2020.
The circular stated that all examinations in all branches of education end before the blessed Eid Al-Adha, while students are given leave for the rest of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, in addition to a number of days in Muharram, so that the new academic year begins on September 1, 2020.
The circular called on universities to complete the preparation for the new academic year, including taking admission exams for the new academic year during a period of time that extends from the end of the exams to August 31, 2020.
