Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The leadership of the Brotherhood aroused ridicule after trying to justify the deal that was revealed recently, between the Houthi group and General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar.

Under the deal, Al-Ahmar's son was released in exchange for the prominent intellectual leader of the Houthi group, Yahya Al-Dailami, from Marib prisons.

Where the Brotherhood leader Rashida al-Qaili published an explanation about the incident on her Facebook account, in which she said that she asked a source close to the office of General Ali Mohsen about the incident.

According to Al-Qaili, Al-Ahmar's office reported that the matter was done through two tribal intermediaries who followed up the matter until it was completed, claiming that Al-Ahmar and his office staff only knew about the deal this morning after the exchange.

Al-Ahmar's office claimed that "only one of his sons was released (Mohsen), and four of his sons and grandchildren are still in Houthi’s grip until this moment, and with more than thirty members of his family are under house arrest."

The Brotherhood leadership added, in her justification for what happened, that there were appeals, demands and pressures from some brotherly and friendly countries to release al-Dailami."

Dozens of sarcastic comments on Al-Qaili's post by activists and observers who agreed that their justification, quoting Al-Ahmar's office, is a scandal in itself.

Pointing out that the statement by the Al-Ahmar office that he, the vice president of the republic, was not aware of a deal in which the most senior Houthi leader detained by the legitimacy was released, is an admission of failure and lack of responsibility that requires dismissal and accountability.

Activists added that the statement bore a shocking fact, if true, that there are no state institutions in Marib, and that it is administered through sheikhs with the ability to conclude deals of this caliber and directives to release detainees from legitimate prisons.

They wonder: How did the governor of Marib, the local authority, the security services, and the prison administration in Marib accept the release of the scholar Yahya al-Dailami?  Based on the guidance of two tribal sheikhs, without legal justification and institutional procedures?
