Griffiths leaves Muscat after meeting the Houthi delegation .. There are no results

On Sunday, the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, ended his visit to the Omani capital, Muscat, during which he held talks with the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Al-Busaidi, and with the Houthi militia delegation, headed by the group’s spokesman, who is currently in Muscat.

While the Houthi militia kept secret about its delegation’s meeting with the UN envoy ... the UN envoy’s office said, in a brief statement on Sunday, that Griffiths met with Muhammad Abdul Salam on Saturday and discussed the draft joint declaration (for a comprehensive ceasefire) that is still under negotiation between the parties and the ongoing UN efforts to end the conflict in Yemen, "without mentioning any results.

The statement indicated that the UN special envoy discussed with the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Al-Busaidi, the ongoing negotiations on the draft joint declaration and the opportunities for the political process in Yemen.
