Local residents in Abyan: Violent confrontations take place on the fronts of Sheikh Salem and Al-Tiriya

Local residents told a NewsYemen correspondent that violent confrontations are taking place between the Brotherhood militia on one side and southern forces on the other hand, and intense artillery shelling was heard.
Residents living in the cities of Zinjibar and Jaar, which are close to the areas of confrontation, said that the sounds of shelling and clashes renewed violently for the first time since the entry into force of a truce supported by the Arab coalition.
No details have been received from military sources until now, but the most intense battle is taking place in Wadi Sala, using heavy and medium weapons.
Earlier on Sunday, the spokesman for the Abyan axis, Muhammad al-Naqib, said that the Brotherhood's militia had violated the Abyan armistice and bombed the southern forces with tanks to torpedo the progress made by the consultations on forming the new government.
