Sanaa, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has confessed to the killing of a prominent leader in its ranks impersonating the brigade and chief of staff of the so-called Fourth Military Zone.

Military sources said that the Houthi leader, Abdullah Dhaif Allah Saleh Al-Ayani, known as Abu Rami, was killed in an air strike by the Arab coalition fighters, along with a number of his groups, in the Nehm front east of Sanaa.

Al-Ayani is considered one of the most important field commanders of Iran's arm, which hails from Saada, and was appointed by the Houthi militia as the pillars of the Fourth Zone War and promoted him to the rank of "Major General."

It is believed that the Houthi leader was killed in an airstrike in the past two days, when Iran's arm resumed the offensive operations towards Marib and Al-Jawf, and the Arab coalition intervened to prevent them from achieving any field breaches.
