Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The lawyers of the blood relatives of the martyr, Commander Adnan Al-Hammadi, called on the media, jurists and all organizations to attend the next session scheduled for tomorrow, in the Specialized Criminal Court in the capital, Aden, in the Great Hall of the Sirah Court of First Instance.

He told "NewsYemen", the head of the prosecution authority and the lawyer for the parents of the martyr Adnan Al-Hammadi, lawyer Najeeb Sharaf Al-Hajj, "It is hoped that during the tomorrow's session, substantial and important judicial decisions regarding the case will be issued, determine its course, and fix the deficiencies and imbalances that marred its procedures during the previous stage.

Al-Hajj wished that the session would take place on the scheduled date, and that the justifications and previous difficulties that resulted in the case being postponed for more than three times for the same reason would have been addressed by the Supreme Judicial Council, either with regard to adequate protection for the court or regarding bringing the accused.

Al-Hajj considered that the continuation of these obstacles in the way of justice “can only be understood from the fact that there is a systematic approach to prolong litigation and impede justice from deciding on many central and important issues, which leads to concealment of the assassination plot, obliteration of the features of the crime and the obsolescence of its evidence with the passage of time and empowering the rest of the partners.  Those who were not reached by the hand of justice and all those involved in it and benefiting from its implementation from impunity.

He said that the assassination of the martyr leader Adnan Al-Hammadi is one of the most important public opinion issues, and that they hope that the presence of the media, activists, and those interested in the size and importance of the case, and that they rely on the independence and integrity of the court in victory for the right and reforming the course of the case.

The court had postponed its sessions for the fourth time, Monday before last, demanding reform of the judiciary and saving the expenses "and what is needed", and including three cases, all of them serious, for the same postponed session.

The day after the issuance of the statement, the governor of the capital Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, visited the headquarters of the Judicial Complex and met with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Dr. Ali Nasser Salem, and Minister of Justice Ali Haitham al-Gharib, confirming that “the local authority provides all means of support for the judicial authority to play its role in separating litigants.”

In the meeting, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Dr. Ali Nasser Salem, affirmed that "the judiciary will remain proud in the service of the nation and the citizens, and will not bow against all difficulties."
