Residents of a rural area in the Mawza district appealed to the UAE Red Crescent to provide relief and medical aid, given the difficult economic situation, as well as not being included by the relief organizations with any aid during this year.

The people of the orphan’s isolation said that they live in a difficult economic situation, and that their work is not considered a good source that meets the family’s requirements.

They added that despite the presence of organizations, their humanitarian role is almost absent, with the exception of the World Food Program, which provides aid to limited families.

They stated that the health unit in the area lacks medicines and specialized medical staff, and that the population suffers during the winter from the spread of fevers and malaria.

They explained that most patients are not able to buy medicines, but that most of them do not go to treatment and are satisfied with the traditional method of herbs and other methods that are no longer feasible.
