Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Data on the distribution of oil derivatives on filling stations in Sanaa and the neighboring governorates revealed that the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - has been smuggled and monopolized oil derivatives in Saada Governorate, in exchange for reducing the shares of the rest of the provinces to the lowest level.

Without considerations of population density standards and the rate of internal transport, the data revealed the Houthi militia’s distribution of oil derivatives on Monday, December 21, to (39) stations spread in (6) districts in Saada Governorate, compared to (6) stations only belonging to the oil company spread in ( 6) Yemeni governorates: Sana'a - Al-Hodeidah - Dhamar - Ibb - Al-Jawf.

Likewise, the Houthi militia distributed, on Tuesday, December 15th, oil products to (29) stations in Saada governorate, with an estimated population of (836) thousand people, compared to one station in Ibb governorate, whose population is estimated at (2 million) and (635) thousand people. Before the recent waves of displacement to the province.

The Houthi militia seeks to continue the oil derivatives crisis, and to maintain the black market, by deliberately closing the filling stations for petroleum products, rationing working hours for operating stations, and creating obstacles to stop them.

In this context, the Houthi militia threatened to confiscate transportation means and the quantities of oil derivatives transported without permission, referring to its control over the elements of the crisis, and to prevent the transfer of any oil derivatives from the southern and eastern governorates that would end the black market and reduce the burden of citizens in Sanaa and the neighboring provinces.

During the last month "November", the port of Hodeidah received more than 4 ships carrying about 150 thousand tons of gasoline and diesel, while in early December it received the ship "Ares" with a quantity of (25,998) tons of diesel.
