Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The day before yesterday, workers carrying out maintenance work for a building adjacent to the Mocha General Hospital found an explosive device from the remnants of the Houthi militia, which was placed on the floor of the first floor of the building that is being prepared to be a center for treating fevers.

An engineering team of the joint forces was able to dismantle and remove the package, and move it from its place, in preparation for disposal.

The Houthi militia is known for committing atrocities and war crimes, which are the planting of IEDs in public places and buildings, and the targeting of civilians unrelated to the parties to the war.

The Houthi militia has turned the western coast into the largest minefield in the world, as it is estimated that it has planted about two million landmines.

During the past years, nearly 1,200 victims of mines and improvised explosive devices fell in seven coastal directorates, according to a census published by workers in the field of mine awareness.
