Aden, NewsYemen:

The Minister of Endowments and Guidance in the new Yemeni government, Muhammad Eida Shabiba, confirmed, on Wednesday, the Yemeni government’s support for classifying the Houthi group as a terrorist movement, saying that “its characterization and classification of a racist terrorist movement” is the least that it should deal with.

In a press interview, the minister wished that the international community had been convinced of what the Yemenis say about “the Houthis’s lack of seriousness in going towards any political solution,” and their influence against “stability in the region and international shipping routes and their significant impact on the life of the Yemeni citizen.”

He said in an interview with "Sputnik": "As for we in Yemen, the government and the people, we have no doubt that the Houthi militia is a terrorist militia based on a racist project, which destroyed, corrupted and killed those who contradict it, even if it is from the point of view, and it went out against the state, society and the popular will with weapons. Naturally, we support any international move to classify it as a "racist terrorist movement."
