Aden, NewsYemen:

The Deputy Head of the Media Department in the Southern Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, said that attempts to impede the work of the government and thwart the second phase of the Riyadh Agreement are expected given the Brotherhood’s loss of what it considers its influence in legitimacy.

Saleh added, in a statement to the London-based Al-Arab newspaper: “The Brotherhood may have been forced to walk the path of implementing the Riyadh Agreement, but they certainly will not be honest or serious in implementing its provisions.”

The leader of the transitional indicated that the Brotherhood saw the terms of the Riyadh Agreement as an "entry point to reduce their influence over the government and end the investment of the legitimacy decision in the interest of their own project that is in line with well-known regional agendas."
