Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

On Sunday, an official of the Houthi militia in Ibb governorate stopped a concert performed by children in a hotel in the city and expelled them from the hall under the pretext of the prohibition of singing.

Eyewitnesses said that Harith al-Maliki, appointed by the Houthis as an agent for the Ibb governorate for tourism affairs, stopped young girls who are less ten years old and got them off the stage, and prevented them from completing the review paragraph accompanying a welcome anthem, as part of an event held at the Grand Ibb Hotel.

The sources added that attending the event that was held on the sidelines of a seminar on tourism in the governorate and attended by the Minister of Tourism of the Houthi government, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the Houthi behavior and left the ceremony hall.

The Houthi militia prevents the festive atmosphere, music and singing in public places in its areas of control, as several Yemeni cities have witnessed cases of attacks by Houthi gunmen on civilians at weddings and graduations.

"NewsYemen" publishes a video of the Houthi mufti attacking weddings and describing the revelers in the most disdainful terms.
