Trenches and earth mounds "in the vicinity of the Third Military Forces as the Houthis approach the city of Marib

 Local sources in the city of Ma'rib confirmed that the forces of the Third Military Region made fortifications and dug large trenches, west of the headquarters of the region that includes the headquarters of the Yemeni army, and in the vicinity of the government complex, with the approaching battles with the Houthi militia from the western side of the city.

According to the sources, trenches were dug and gigantic earthen berms were built along the areas of Al-Mil, Al-Rawda, west of the HTS hospital, and in the Ring Road, west of the city of Ma'rib, in conjunction with the intensification of the battles in the Al-Tala'a Al-Hamra, Al-Dashush and Wadi Al-Bara on the road linking Sanaa and Marib. About the militia’s advances in the red and al-Bara flights.

It indicated that the general situation in the city of Marib is worrying, with the approaching battles from the western side of the city, and the departure of military leaders such as Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Hadhiri, who was killed yesterday in the battles, and he is the director of the military judiciary and in charge of trying the leaders of the Houthi coup, all indications that the battles have entered an advanced stage.  

The battles west of Marib coincide with the outbreak of confrontations between the elements of the Islah party and the tribes in Al-Damascene and the Al-Sabayyan family in Al-Wadi district, following the killing of Sheikh Ali bin Saleh Miqan, at the hands of security elements of the Islah party.

Field sources in Marib confirmed that the militias had pushed 200 combat vehicles as part of large reinforcements towards the fronts of Ma'rib during the past two days, with the aim of storming the city, pointing to the intensification of the battles on the fronts of the Al-Tala'a Al-Hamra and Wadi Al-Bara, the last defense system for the city of Marib, in conjunction with the bombing of the Sahn al-Jin ballistic missile by the Houthis.

The sources indicated that a number of displaced families, families of social figures, businessmen, and members of the legitimate government left the city of Marib to Shabwa governorate, in conjunction with the intensification of fighting in the vicinity of the western city of Ma'rib.
