Shabwa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The oil leaks returned to Shabwa Governorate (southeastern Yemen) again, amid the silence of the Brotherhood's authority controlling the oil strongholds.

Local sources told "NewsYemen" that, during the past two days, quantities of crude oil have spilled in Wadi Ghurair in the Rawda District.

According to the sources, a new oil leak appeared in Wadi Ghurair in the Rawda District, at a time when the Brotherhood authority did not move to address the problem.

The recent leaks led to pollution of ground and surface water sources in Wadi Ghurair, as well as mixing of oil waste with flowing water, which led to the suspension of drinking water projects in the area, according to the sources.

This spill may become a source of the spread of dangerous diseases or damage the environment in the areas of the oil spill.
