Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, is tampering with the lists of the educational beneficiaries of the charitable aid allocated to them, and it continues to plunder these aid.

According to educational sources, the Houthi militia imposed committees from its members to handle the distribution of charitable food aid, which are “food baskets” provided by a group of merchants, and intended for educators in the capital's secretariat without receiving anything, about a month ago.

The sources indicated that it became clear later that a large-scale manipulation of the names of the beneficiaries and the seizure of the bulk of those food baskets, and the deprivation of the beneficiaries, was what happened to the Houthi militia in the file of relief and humanitarian aid.

An educational source says that the representative of the Houthi Committee arrived with his gunmen at the end of Sha`ban to the Aisha school, in the center of Sana'a, and he wrote down all the data of the workers and teachers while taking their personal cards under the pretext of registering them in the detection of food baskets, but they all have not received any aid since then, which is the same thing that many teachers in several schools in Sana'a talked about in identical complaints.

Educators in Amanat Al-Asimah explicitly accuse the militias of looting the aid allocated to them after receiving it on their behalf, and using their personal data and identities for suspicious purposes.

Educators in Sana'a and the Houthi militia-controlled areas are facing difficult living conditions since the Houthi militia confiscated their salaries during 2016, and this situation is exacerbated by the lack of other sources of income and the insane high prices of essential goods and services.
