Field sources in Marib governorate "east of Sanaa" confirmed that government forces and tribes were able to capture the leader of the Nehm front of the Houthi militia, called "Abu Qais", with a number of his members in the Al-Mashjah front, west of the governorate.
The sources mentioned that the battles between the army and the tribes on one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, continued on the "Kasara and Al-Mashjahh" fronts, reaching Mahazim Mas in the Medghal district, in which 13 Houthi combat vehicles were destroyed and 18 Houthi fighters were killed and wounded in the last 24 hours of battles.
According to the sources, the commander of the Rapid Intervention Forces and the commander of the Western Al-Mashjah Front in the ranks of the militia, called Brigadier General Saleh Al-Sufyani, nicknamed (Abu Barout), was killed in the recent battles along with a number of his members, while a Houthi bombed drone was shot down at Al-Mushajeh, in conjunction with The bombing of the city with a ballistic missile is the fourth in less than three days.
