Report: Al Houthi militia carried out 43 attacks on IDP camps in Marib

A human rights report said, that Iran's arm has carried out 43 attacks on displacement camps in the regions of Sirwah and Medghal in the Ma'rib governorate during the last three months.

A report issued by the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps stated that, since February 6, 2021, Houthi militia attacks on the camps, using their artillery attacks, Katyusha rockets, and drones, in addition to raiding the camps and besieging the displaced.

According to the report, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, adopted an unprecedented attack strategy on the camps in the history of wars, inflicting the heaviest losses among the displaced.

The militia launched its attacks on nine camps in the districts of Sirwah and Medghal, wounding 30 displaced persons, including 11 women and six children, and forcing 3030 families to flee the camps for fear of the bombing.

Houthi artillery shells also destroyed the main water well in Al-Zour camp in Sarwah and 21 mobile water tanks, in addition to the burning of 89 residential tents for the displaced as a result of the bombing.
