Aden, NewsYemen:

Rights Activist Anis Al-Sharik confirmed that the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation is the one who is obstructing the return of international organizations to the capital, Aden.

Al-Sharik said, in a post on Facebook, that international organizations cannot return and carry out their activities from the capital in light of the silence by the governor of Aden and the Transitional Council in front of Anjiha and the practices of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation that systematically blackmail and obstruct the organizations’ work in Aden.

Al-Sharik indicated that the Ministry of Planning has added a new clause to the main agreement, regarding international organizations, that withdraws the authority of the governor and the local authority and removes their role and connects everything in the Ministry of Planning, noting that the clause is illegal and violates all the regulations of the ministry and the local authority, and it was imposed in a militia manner.

Al-Sharik explained that the international organizations most targeted by the Ministry of Planning are those qualitative organizations whose activities, goals, projects and tasks sit, dialogue and coordinate with the "Southern Transitional Council" and the security and military parties, implement projects and hold workshops in Aden.

Al-Sharik stressed that the extortion and obstruction practiced by the Ministry of Planning reached the point that some international organizations must coordinate with the ministry from under the table and transfer and implement their projects to Marib and Al-Jawf.

Al-Sharik added that unfortunately, with the presence of a new administration that wants to carry out its activities in a legal manner and according to the ministry's regulations and the recommendations of the donor, the ministry obstructed it and refused to sign the agreement.

Al-Sharik also vowed to reveal the corruption of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and international organizations, with numbers and names, in the coming days.
