Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, prevented the owners of wedding and event halls in Sanaa, which is under its control, from opening external loudspeakers during wedding parties.

According to a circular issued by Abdulmalik al-Rawdi, appointed by the Houthis as director general of the Maeen district, in the capital Sana’a the militia banned wedding and event halls from using external loudspeakers, especially in the evening.

The Houthi militia also prevented the holding of wedding parties and events in the halls, after ten o'clock in the evening, considering this "contrary to values."

The circular warned the owners of the halls, of strict punitive measures in the event of non-compliance and adherence to these decisions

Earlier, sources in Sana'a revealed that the Houthi militia had started training a new women's battalion, which they called "Al-Batoul", and it is part of the so-called Zainabiyat Brigades, whose mission is to directly supervise women's clothing during social events that take place in homes and wedding halls.

The sources indicated that the militia leaders entrusted the task of preparing, training and leading the newly created battalion to women leaders from the line of the militia leader, including Umm Aqil al-Shami and Umm Muhammad Jahaf, who are among the most prominent female Houthi leaders in what is known as the Zainabiyat Brigades.
