A civilian was seriously injured in armed clashes in Mawza

At least one person was seriously injured, on Monday, in a gun battle between two clans over a dispute over a plot of land in Mawza district, two days after a person was seriously injured.

NewsYemen's reporter stated that gun battles erupted on Monday afternoon between the tribes of Bani Haloush and Bani Haidar, which led to the injury of the young man, Muhammad Allawi, from Bani Haloush, who was seriously injured and transferred to Mocha General Hospital.

He said that the past two days witnessed intermittent clashes with firearms between the two clans, following the injury of Musab Muhammad Haider, who was seriously stabbed in the neck while he was irrigating his farm.

He explained that the attack on Haidar prompted his clan to resort to arms and barricades, to prevent the continued attacks of the Haloush family.

He stressed that the absence of the security services, as well as the judge of the Mawza court, fueled the problem and made it reach this point of fighting, even though the case has been under consideration by Mawza's security for more than a year.
