Mocha, NewsYemen:

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs noted what it called "the evacuation of the forces allied with the Yemeni government from their positions around the city of Hodeidah, the axis of the Sweden agreement, including the Red Sea Mills, the 16 kilometer area, the Thabet Brothers Industrial Complex, and the Hodeidah International Airport."

In its latest bulletin on the United Nations website, the office said that the redeployment of the joint forces would "improve the movement of civilians between the governorates of Hodeidah and Sana'a and with Hodeidah itself."

However, the statement described the situation in Hodeidah as still very volatile, with reports of ongoing violent clashes between the Yemeni government and Houthi forces along the new areas of the lines of control.

He said assessments are still underway to determine the impact of these new developments on humanitarian access.
