Al Mahra, NewsYemen.

Al-Mahra Governorate is the most prominent Houthi source of arms and funds, due to its borders with the Omani authority and the large presence of groups that declare their allegiance semi-officially to the Houthi group.

Armed men affiliated with the tribal Sheikh Ali Al-Huraizi, who is supported by Muscat, control border crossings with Oman, and smuggle weapons, money and equipment to the Houthi group

Al-Mahra, far from the conflict, the Houthis worked in every way to reach it through Al-Huraizi and others to obtain Iran’s support through Muscat, and it became one of the most insecure and widespread areas for militants outside the local authority and state apparatus.

Al-Huraizi owns armed men, publishes his points in many districts of the governorate, and receives great support from Muscat and Tehran to destabilize the security of the governorate and smuggle weapons to the Houthi militias.

Military sources confirmed that Al-Mahra governorate became the only artery for the Houthi militia after the fall of the Shabwa Brotherhood authority, which was the other artery for the militias.

Southern activists called on the Arab coalition to put an end to al-Hurayzi and his gunmen, to stop smuggling operations that are open to all, and to punish anyone who supplies Iran's militias with weapons and money.

Southerners believe that the control of the coalition and the state over the important governorate of Mahra will quickly lead to the fall of the militias that obtain their weapons and march through the governorate.

And recently, Al-Huraizi threatened, in his statements, to use his gunmen to prevent what he called the handover of the governorate to the Transitional Council.

Al-Hurayzi clearly declares his possession of weapons and fighters and control of several areas in the province .

The local authority had called for a meeting of all parties in the province to maintain security and stability.

Following the call, the transitional council in the province announced its boycott of the call until a position is taken against Al-Hurayzi and his militia.

The STC called on the local authority to take a decisive stance and action against the Al-Huraizi militia, as it is the only official, legal and legal authority that must control and possess weapons.

Media activist Wathiq Al-Hasani said in a tweet to him, "Oh coalition, there are camps in Al-Mahra Governorate belonging to the Houthi militia that have been supplied with all kinds of weapons through smuggling from the borders with Oman as well as through the eastern coasts. Ali Al-Huraizi has been assigned to establish these camps outside the framework of the state.  ".

Al-Hassani indicated that "regarding the quantity of weapons, it was previously detected."

In his turn, political writer Abdel Qader Al-Qadi Abu Al-Laim said in a tweet to him, "As long as this smuggler called Al-Huraizi has influence with the local authority in Al-Mahra and runs camps that raise the cry in Ramle and leads a smuggling network from the borders of Al-Mahra to Sana'a, the Houthis will not stop supplying all kinds of drones and all kinds of  weapons".

"Things are clear, but the decisions are timid," the judge added.

Political activist Abdullah al-Jaidi believes that the purification of al-Mahra and Wadi Hadramawt will lead to the defeat of al-Houthi and terrorism.

Al-Jaidi said, in a tweet to him, "The purification of Al-Mahra, the valley and the desert of Hadramout from the forces of Muhammad Al-Qadi and Yahya Abu Auja, and their political and terrorist shops represented in the smuggling camps of Ali Salem Al-Harizi in Al-Mahra and the shop of the so-called reference of the Hadhramaut tribes in Seiyun and the sellers in it, will defeat the Houthis and eliminate the  Terrorism and security for all.
