Aden, NewsYemen, special:

After promises that were interrupted within two weeks following the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, dozens of citizens of the capital, Aden, demonstrated today in protest against the ongoing electricity cuts in the face of a hot summer that is still in its infancy.

The people of the city are asking the Presidential Leadership Council, who left “Ma’asheq” in several rounds, leaving the capital to the summer heat and deliberate neglect without salaries and in light of the return of the collapse of the value of the riyal.

The capital witnessed angry demonstrations, on Sunday evening, denouncing the collapse of services, the rise in prices and the deterioration of the exchange rate, but these voices did not find anyone to console them in light of the departure of everyone outside the country.

The people of Aden and the liberated governorates accuse all parties of failing them and not paying attention by providing the simplest services and disbursing salaries, expressing their disappointment with everyone.

Journalist Yasser Al-Yafei said, in a tweet to him, Aden has been living a continuous failure for 8 years, and all doses of hope are fading without achieving any positive result.

Al-Yafei added, "If they want Aden as a temporary capital for all of Yemen, it must receive full care and an adequate and double budget, and its people must feel the difference, unless they declare it an independent capital and the people have already led it dead, dead in all cases. Death with honor and dignity is better than a slow death with humiliation and humiliation."

Al-Yafei indicated that "what is happening is that Aden continues to be plunged into crises is deliberate, and the people have been patient with Ayoub's patience, and with every moment of patience their suffering multiplies and the door of hope is closed. Neither the promises have been implemented nor the commitments have been fulfilled, nor the one who speaks of love for this city and praises its victories was loyal to it."

He concluded, "The citizen is the one who pays the price, and he does not know how long this situation will continue."

Political activist Fahd Al-Khulaifi called on the leadership council and the government to find solutions for the capital, Aden, and the liberated provinces.

"The government and the Presidential Command Council must assume their responsibilities by finding radical solutions for services in Aden and all the liberated provinces," Al-Khulaifi said on Twitter.

Regarding the angry demonstrations, Al-Khulaifi said, "Freedom of expression is guaranteed to everyone, and peaceful demonstration is a legitimate right of the people, and it must be based on societal awareness," warning "against intruders, breaking facilities, blocking roads and harming the public interest."

In turn, the media personality Abdul Qadir Abu Al-Laim tweeted, “No one is exempt from his responsibility to relieve the suffering of the people in the capital, Aden, and our leadership in the Southern Transitional Council must shoulder its responsibilities in this aspect and work to pressure by all means to push the government and the Presidential Council to take serious and quick steps to save the people and restore services to them.”  Especially the electricity.
