A leader of Ansar al-Sharia, al Qaeda arm in Yemen, along with two others, were killed Saturday in a U.S. drone strike in the central province of al-Baida.
A local source told Newsyemen that al-Qaeda leader Abu Ammar al-Hadrami was killed along with two others, Abu Yousef al-Fathani and Abu AbedulElah al-Mundhari (Abu Salah) in the U.S. airstrike.
The source added that the leader al-Hadrami was wanted for security authorities.
A local source said that the airstrike on March,25 targeted a weapon cache in al-Hazemeyah front in the province, killing five and burning the cache.
